  My name is Valentin Hristov and I am the 37^th mayor of Pleven Municipality.

  I am born on 24^th  of November, 1974 and my profession is doctor – cardiologist.

  It is Pleven where I have grown in, got my university education  and live in together with my family. Pleven appears to be an integral part of me. I firmly believe in its potential and I will do my best to make  it a better place for living! A place where our children will grow up and others will return back to accomplish  their dreams!

   After finishing Secondary School “Anastasiya Dimitrova”, I graduated Medical University – Pleven in 2000, and later I acquired specialty in “Public Health and Healthcare Management”. Since 2014  I am specialist cardiologist, who is certified in echocardiography.

In the years I gradually passed all levels – starting as medical intern and ending as executive director of the specialized cardiologic hospital and manager of  Sector “Angiography” in the High Tech Hospital Complex “Heart and Brain”.

My wife is also a doctor. We have three daughters.

 To Pleven citizens I gave hope and I am going to do my best for a more transparent, modern and open city management that is focused on care and wisdom!

Pleven is my heart!
